The study of languages, is not only developing a
knowledge, understanding and skills necessary for
effective interaction in a language other than your own, but
it is also about developing an understanding of the cultures
associated with that chosen language.
There is no better way to learn about a culture or a
language, than by being immersed in that culture, meeting
the people in their own country, interacting with the locals
and being surrounded by the written and oral examples of
that language.
